The NACAC National College Fair is Sunday, Sept. 13th at the Duke Energy Center. The fair lasts from 1-4PM & is a great opportunity to meet with college admission officers from all over the country. One of the things students will be doing is filling out “contact cards” which is how colleges get the students’ contact information. It is helpful to prepare pre-printed stickers with their FULL name, address and email so that they don’t have to handwrite the information for every institution. Also, when they are waiting to talk to an admission officer, listen to the conversation they are having with the student ahead; it may be something your student is interested in as well!

It’s time to sign up to sell the ever-popular chip wheelies and help WSMA raise money to support the music programs in our schools from Kindergarten through High School. If you have an hour or two to volunteer, we can use your help.
WSMA sells Graeter’s Chip Wheelies at home football games and all the school concerts. These ice cream sandwiches are a huge favorite with the kids (and adults). It’s easy!! We handle the ordering and delivery of Chip Wheelies to a special freezer at the High School. We’ll supply you with signage, a cash box, and instructions. It’s a short time commitment. If you have younger kids who want to attend the football game, you’ll have a good excuse for being there. Concert sales only take about an hour of time. If you are interested in volunteering, the link is: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E0949A5AA2EA75-chip
Thanks for supporting our student musicians through WSMA! More information on WSMA can be found at www.wyomingmusic.org
